I’m procrastinating.
May 12, 2008 Filed Under: laughter, life, school 418 words
Oh well. I’ll be up till 1 am doing my Milton midterm and Plato’s quiz. Short essays, two essays @ 15 pts, 3-5 paragraphs which is the first part. Long Essay is 35 pts, 2-3 pages. I’m watching ABC’s Extreme House’s Makeover Edition, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers & Sisters. It’s the season finale of the latter and I’m excited to see how it ends. I miss watching these shows since the writer’s strike started; it’s been hard but getting more work done. Reasons: 1) kept me busy & less missing of my boyfriend, long distance relationship suck AND 2) woke me up with the news; weather!!
The only reason I’m really posting is this because well
- I’m procrastinating - as the title says.
- I want to brag about my geeky/dorky ways.
- ^ I wanted to watch the shows while I watched the shows (not happening. See #1) but I managed to make the tv work by creating an antenna from a tv cable & a potato.
- Yes, a potato.
- Potatoes are important because it reminds me of the bash quote that Nate-sama uses. I can’t remember it.
Edit: This is it. I just found it because I asked him :).
IronChef Foicite: well, there’s a lot of reasons
IronChef Foicite: i mean, roses only last like a couple weeks
IronChef Foicite: and that’s if you leave them in water
IronChef Foicite: and they really only exist to be pretty
IronChef Foicite: so that’s like saying
IronChef Foicite: “my love for you is transitory and based solely on your appearance”
IronChef Foicite: but a potato!
IronChef Foicite: potatos last for fucking ever, man
IronChef Foicite: in fact, not only will they not rot, they actually grow shit even if you just leave them in the sack
IronChef Foicite: that part alone makes it a good symbol
IronChef Foicite: but there’s more!
IronChef Foicite: there are so many ways to enjoy a potato! you can even make a battery with it!
IronChef Foicite: and that’s like saying “i have many ways in which I show my love for you”
IronChef Foicite: and potatos may be ugly, but they’re still awesome
IronChef Foicite: so that’s like saying “it doesn’t matter at all what you look like, I’ll still love you”
Oh well. This is short & cute blog post. Lists & blockquotes as well.

OMG. I can’t stand riding CTA trains anymore. I am going to become very O.C.D one of these days & be able to ride only Metra, the decent last transportation that runs faster then riding bikes or walking. CTA scares the fuck out of me. Seriously. & here’s the list why.

What happened on my 21st birthday

Heh, I should be doing a paper or creating a database in Microsoft Access & turning it in online but instead I’m watching Juno with Clelisa as Elize types next to me. I have seen it before, once online [yes, I'm a pirate & proud of it] and the other with my boyfriend. It scared the hell out of him when Juno tells Paulie Bleeker about her pregnancy. It doesn’t surprise me; I’m not ready for that either in a long, long time.
Mac MacGuff: In my opinion, the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you, the right person will still think the sun shines out your ass. That’s the kind of person that’s worth sticking with.
I like Mac MacGuff’s concept of what true love is and it’s true. Even though I’m completely miserable/he’s the one making me miserable, I still want to hang out with him because somehow, someway he will make me happy even though I can strive to do it myself.

I hate broken sleeping schedules
April 18, 2008 Filed Under: boyfriend, emo, family, school 155 words
This week has been so unsuccessful that I feel so annoying & well, just pathetic. I’m taking five classes (Milton, Math & Lit 2, TV News, Literature & Identity, and Business Ethics) and I find myself enjoying them which is probably why I’m annoyed that I’m missing them & it’s expensive to miss them. $11/class. I have to start caring for my education again. But I don’t even know what’s making me feel so blue which is so unlike me.
Eh. Could be because I’m turning the big 2-1 on Monday which means that I can legally get trashed but I don’t care honestly anymore for that. Sure, a drink & a good conversation and not having to be worry about being kicked out of a location because of underage is nice but that’s all that comes with it.

It’s back to school…
April 10, 2008 Filed Under: Job, Weather, family, money, school 185 words
It’s a week after my last entry so I figured I’d blog again. I’m trying to do it every week since the lack of updates in the past month. This is what I learn from updating my archives pages. I’m working on doing the 101 Things in 1001 Days that Holly is doing as well. I’m trying to get that up so I can start & have something to keep me constantly motivated.
I have applied at Borders and Peet’s Tea & Coffee as well as other locations. Hopefully I get a job soon because it’s hard living on $18 a week. & from my parents. It’s starting to make me feel guilty especially since I’m turn 21 soon; I’m legally an adult and going to have to grow up. On that, I’ve missed 2 classes of both Lit & Identity, Milton, and M&L 2 all good classes and today that ends. This way I can accomplish more and realize that I’m not a lazy person altogether.
